This Privacy Policy explains how A-Z Super Utility ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use our website and its tools. We are committed to a privacy-first approach: most of our tools run entirely inside your browser, and we keep the data we collect to the minimum needed to operate and improve the site.
1. Information We Do Not Collect
The values you type into our calculators, converters, generators, and other tools are, in the vast majority of cases, processed locally in your browser and never sent to or stored on our servers. For example, when you use the BMI Calculator, Password Generator, JSON Formatter, or Word Counter, your inputs stay on your device. We do not build user profiles, we do not sell personal data, and we do not require you to create an account.
2. Information Processed to Provide a Feature
Some tools need to contact a third-party service to work. In those cases, the minimum necessary query is sent to that provider:
- Weather, Air Quality & Forecast - the city or coordinates you enter are sent to a weather data provider (e.g. OpenWeather).
- Currency Converter & Crypto Tracker - the currencies or coins you select are sent to an exchange-rate/price provider.
- AI tools (AI Chatbot, Content Helper, Quote Generator, AI recipes) - the prompt you submit is sent to an AI model provider to generate a response.
- Lookup tools (IP, DNS, Whois, SSL, IFSC, Pincode, GitHub, Wikipedia, etc.) - the term you search is sent to the relevant public API or database.
We do not attach your identity to these queries. Each provider handles the request under its own privacy policy.
3. Data Stored on Your Device
To improve your experience, some features use your browser's localStorage - for example, your theme preference (light/dark), recently used tools, saved notes, and bookmarked favourites. This data stays on your device, is never transmitted to us, and can be cleared at any time from your browser settings.
4. Contact Form
If you use our Contact form, the name, email address, and message you provide are emailed to us so we can respond. We use this information only to reply to your enquiry and do not add it to any marketing list.
5. Cookies and Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site (for example, which tools are popular) so we can improve it.
