About SEO Tools

Create optimised tags with the Meta Tag Generator, preview your listing in the SERP Simulator, generate an XML sitemap and robots.txt, add schema markup for rich results, and check keyword density to avoid stuffing.

Together these cover the on-page and technical basics that help search engines find, understand, and rank your pages.

The errors that actually cost traffic

Most SEO findings are minor. Three are not, and all three are invisible on the rendered page: a stray noindex left over from a staging environment, a canonical tag pointing at a different page, and a Disallow: / in robots.txt. Each can remove a working site from search overnight and produces a traffic drop that looks like a penalty. If organic traffic falls sharply and suddenly, check those three before anything else.

Crawling is not indexing

This distinction causes more accidental de-indexing than any other misunderstanding. Disallow in robots.txt prevents a crawler fetching a URL — it does not remove that URL from the index, and because the page cannot be fetched, any noindex tag on it is never read. To remove a page from search, allow crawling and use a noindex tag. To save crawl budget on low-value URLs, use robots.txt. To protect private content, use authentication — robots.txt is a public file that advertises exactly what you hoped to hide.

What the generators here produce

Meta tags, structured data, sitemaps, robots directives, hreflang sets and redirect rules. Two points worth carrying into all of them. Structured data must describe content actually visible on the page — marking up FAQs that do not appear violates the guidelines and risks a manual action removing rich results site-wide. And hreflang requires reciprocal return links: if page A lists B as an alternate, B must list A, or the entire relationship is ignored.

Titles and descriptions are truncated by pixel width rather than character count, so front-load the important words and check how a snippet renders on mobile, which cuts descriptions to roughly 120 characters.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Will these tools guarantee higher rankings?

No tool can guarantee rankings, but correct meta tags, schema, and sitemaps help search engines crawl and understand your pages.

What is schema markup for?

It describes your content to search engines in a structured format, making pages eligible for rich results like FAQs and ratings.

Are the SEO tools free?

Yes, every SEO tool is free with no sign-up.

Will robots.txt remove a page from Google?

No. It stops the page being crawled, but a blocked URL linked from elsewhere can still appear in results. Worse, because the page cannot be fetched, any noindex tag on it is never read.

What is the most damaging SEO error?

A stray noindex tag left in production, usually carried over from staging. It removes the page from search entirely while looking completely normal to visitors.

Can I add FAQ schema for questions not on the page?

No. Structured data must reflect visible page content. Marking up questions that do not appear violates the guidelines and risks a manual action removing rich results across your whole site.
